Our Baby Boy Blanket

This blanket was inspired by a pattern I discovered on Purl Bee’s website, the “Super Easy Baby Blanket“.

I was looking for something easy and simple and so was delighted to find this! It was a welcome change from my usual blankets… typically, all variations of a granny square. I started with the same number of chains but instead of double crochets, I did all trebles in the hope that it would work up quickly, which it did. It also has lovely drape to it and is really soft and snuggly. So all in all, I’m very pleased with the finished article and how the colours came together… they remind me of the seaside.
